Our family had a very positive experience with Columbia Post Acute during my mom’s recent two-month rehabilitation stay. The staff was always friendly, caring, and respectful. Communication with our family was excellent, and they regularly kept us informed. Most importantly, the nursing and rehab provided helped her regain her strength and get back on her feet. We truly appreciate the care they provided and highly recommend Columbia Post Acute.

Columbia Post Acute took great care of my mom from OT, PT to personal care and made her feel like an individual not just a number. We were very happy with her care. She is now at home and doing well!

My stay at Columbia Acute Care was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing rehabilitation. From the first day, representatives from every department visited my room and explained their roles, which made me feel cared for. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and having a television with all channels was great. The nursing staff was attentive, efficient and caring. Call lights were answered in a reasonable amount of time, and the director of nursing personally checked in to make sure my needs and concerns were being met. A doctor or nurse practitioner was always available for any medical questions. The therapists worked hard to ensure I functioned at my highest level. They took a genuine interest in both me and my family which meant so much during my recovery. Every department treated me with kindness and respect. The laundry dept would have a daily joke that made me smile and the dietary dept gladly accommodated requests and menu changes. There were various activities daily. Transportation to appointments were provided by friendly and dependable drivers. It really touched me was the day I left. Staff members from different departments came by to wish me well and say goodbye. I came in as a stranger but left feeling like I had made friends. T

My uncle was being cared for there and he had a stroke and they waited for several hours before getting him to the hospital. He later passed away.

This place has amazing staff and facilities. The ONLY complaint I had was the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. If you need PT or OT then this is the place to go.

The nursing staff, maintenance staff, and everyone was all so helpful and caring. The PT, OT, and speech were exceptional. Had daily activities you could attend to. The food was good, but at times the flavor was lost. I would recommend this place.

Was there for over 2 months recovering from severe infection. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Knowledgeable, kind and caring. P/T and O/T staff got me up out of the wheelchair and walking with a walker, which was my greatest goal while I was there. Getting back on my feet. The facility is very nice. New, pleasant and kept very clean. The food is good and snacks are always available too. There’s also some type of recreation or social event organized in the afternoons. All in all, the place you want to go for rehab.

Second stay for my dad this year. The facility and staffing has went severely downhill since his previous stay in July. The staffing is short which they have used as a common excuse. His stay is for therapy and pain management. Meds have not been administered timely or as scheduled. My mother has had to make sure and be here at all hours of the day to ensure he is getting his meds as prescribed which is pathetic as this is labeled as a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. No one cares and the common excuse is short staffing. Don’t fill the beds if you can’t provide full care for the existing patients. Also, had a therapist tell us this week the facility worked really hard the first few years to get that 5 star rating and once that was achieved staff and budget cuts were implemented which has effected the care that’s given. Other than that it’s pretty clean but DO NOT leave your loved ones unattended and expect them to be cared for!

This facility is very clean (no smells). Nursing staff is excellent and willing to interact with patients. Meals seem to be a monthly repeat; with weekends breakfast is egg casserole only. My room was spacious and was kept clean on a daily basis. My therapists were knowledgeable and kept me engaged. Willing to let me go at a higher level than expected.

The nursing staff was very attentive, the food was generally very good and the Physical and Occupational Therapy was excellent. I received help that prepared me to return home, where I continue to recuperate and increase strength and stamina.

The nursing staff is second to none, and the administration is excellent. My loved one would never have been able to go back to their home without this facility.

I was a patient at Columbia Post Acute Care after knee replacement surgery. I found the nurses very attentive to all my needs and willing to help me in any way they could. The therapists were excellent and had goals I had to meet before I was discharged. I enjoyed attending the daily events such as ice cream socials, crafts, Bingo, music, etc. I was able to get out of my room and visit with others. Doug and Matthew were fantastic drivers when transporting me from the hospital and to doctor appointments. Also, food service was excellent. There were a variety of menus each day. I highly recommend this facility if you are in need of a rehabilitation center.

We had an excellent experience with Columbia Post Acute. My husband had been in an Assisted Living facility in St. Louis, where several staff members had no business working in a care facility. Based on the comments of those staff members, it seemed pretty clear the staff treated their residents, the way upper management treated them. Columbia Post Acute was a breath of fresh air. All staff was caring, kind, compassionate, etc. Several staff spent the time to get to know my husband. I can only assume their attitude and work ethic goes all the way to the top. We are very grateful to have had Columbia Post Acute as an option in our community!

My husband was a patient at Columbia Post Acute Care in Columbia for 12 days. From the receptionists to the nurses and everyone in between we have nothing but praise for the care he received while in their care.
