I’m Kim Yelton and I am the Director of Nursing at Columbia Post Acute. I have worked in Skilled Nursing / Post Acute / Long Term care for almost 20 years in various capacities.
I have 2 daughters and 2 step-sons. We like to “hobby farm’ and have chickens, turkeys and a few cows. In my spare time, I like to race mud trucks and help operate a mud racing association.
Hi, my name is Suzanne Terrell and I am the Clinical Nurse Liaison/Marketing Director at Columbia Post Acute. I am a Registered Nurse and have over 40 years of experience in patient care. Most of my career has been spent in Intensive Care Units and 25 years were as a Flight Nurse on a medical helicopter. CPA is my first journey into skilled nursing and I really enjoy it.
I have a son, daughter-in-law and a grandson as well as 2 rambunctious dogs! I’m an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and season ticket holder. Go Chiefs!
I'm Christy Day and I am the Director of Foodservice. I bring over 25 years of experience in foodservice, most of that spent as a Chef in Missouri and Texas. I completed my CDM-CFPP in 2020 and then transitioned to healthcare. I truly enjoy working with seniors and listening to their stories.
In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our granddaughter. I love to cheer on my son-in-law while he is running figure 8 racing and demolition derby. My favorite place to be is on the beach watching the waves and my best friend is my Mom.
My name is Angela Neal and I am the Admissions Coordinator/Social worker at Columbia Post Acute. I love my job and enjoy watching people smile and laugh while participating in group and independent activities of their choice. I have 3 wonderful children: Denise, Christopher, and Jalin and 3 wonderful Grandchildren, Markaden, Malayah and Kai. I love sports and attending sporting events. I also love listening to music of many kinds.
I have been a nurse for over 20 years, working in ICU, case management, long term care as a Director of Nursing and several years as an administrator. I am excited to be a part of this state-of-the art rehab to home facility. I believe that as a nurse, you have the chance to leave a positive mark on someone's life daily. To be there for someone when they need you most is a great feeling.
In my spare time, which I don't have much of, I enjoy shopping and fine dining. I also enjoy traveling with my family which includes my husband and two kids. Sand beaches and palm trees are a few of my favorite backgrounds! My family also includes my two Pomeranians, Bear and Roo who make me smile!
I'm Jana Williams and I'm a Social Worker at Columbia Post Acute. I graduated from the Mizzou School of Social Work and have over 30 years of experience in my field. I work with behavioral health issues, patients with disabilities and our senior population.
During my off time, I enjoy hiking, music festivals and exploring the country on road trips. I am very interested in archaeology, having participated in several digs over the years. I also enjoy spending time with my 2 wonderful sons.
My name is Christi McNail and I’m the Director of Rehabilitation. I initially got my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and later received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. I have over 10 years of experience in both outpatient and skilled nursing facility physical therapy.
My family consists of my husband and three sons. We enjoy outside family activities including hiking, biking and running.
I graduated in 2017 with a BS in business and accounting from Columbia College. I have worked in the healthcare field for more than 25 years, both in the financial and human resource areas. I enjoy spending time with family, our poodle, Mugsy, and won't pass up a great clearance sale or flea market. We root for the Kansas City Chiefs, Mizzou and the Kansas City Royals. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading and am a self-proclaimed "book hoarder" and collect vintage Nancy Drew books. I look forward to meeting you at Columbia Post Acute.
I am the person who is responsible for overseeing the facility maintenance department. As the director I plan, organize and direct the maintenance and repairs to the equipment, building and the grounds. I have over 10 years experience in the health care industry.

My name is Rita Hughes and I am the Life Enrichment Coordinator at Columbia Post Acute. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years. I managed the sheltered workshop for 12 years along with coaching Special Olympics on weekends, working Hospice and working as an EMT in the local ER.
I was hesitant to try a new career, but I honestly couldn’t be happier with my decision. I feel like I stepped into a close family setting facility. The patient care has made me proud to say I am part of improving lives and sending patients home healthier and happier.
I moved to Columbia 5 years ago from Macon, Mo. after downsizing from a 20-acre exotic animal farm to 3 acres and 2 dog/humans Daisy & Oliver. I have 4 amazing grown children, Robert, Dallas, Jami and Jacob along with 2 precious grandchildren Kenna and Wilder. Family gatherings are a common thing at my place.
I spend my time with my dogs, gardening, hiking, exercise and enjoying live music as much as time allows.
